Occupying a strategic location on the Leeds outer ring road near Horsforth, Blok Haus was substantially refurbished for scientific search engine marketing specialists Search Laboratory to create their new headquarters. The 1960’s office building received a comprehensive refresh, inside and out, with the most dramatic transformations being the former split-level loading bay and single storey workshops which became the company’s café/breakout space and main open plan office hub. Suspended ceilings were removed, structure and services expressed and new interiors carefully selected in line with a strong visual concept. The project client was Rushbond PLC, with the fit-out and all external works undertaken by Absolute Contract Interiors.
